Road to Majority Policy Conference 2022 Ignites Passion and Hope Ahead of the Midterms
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Faith & Freedom Coalition on Saturday concluded a successful 13th annual Road to Majority Policy Conference in Nashville, Tennessee, which featured an outstanding lineup of speakers and panelists, including a keynote address from President Donald J. Trump.
The theme of Road to Majority 2022 was centered around a love for God, family and country, and hope for the future of the nation, with a specific focus on the upcoming midterm elections. The conference galvanized more than 2,000 attendees from all over the country to ensure that a pro-family, pro-freedom agenda soars to victory in November.
“We believe that the United States of America is the greatest and most virtuous republic in the history of the world, we’re going to keep it that way,” said President Donald J. Trump. “Above all else, we know this in America, we don’t worship government, we worship God,” he later said.
Throughout the conference, attendees were encouraged to remain steadfast in their values and convictions, and reminded of the importance of electing like-minded leaders. “Is our nation perfect? Of course it’s not. But the principles at the heart of America are perfect. Now is no time to replace those ideals, now’s the time to apply them more fully, to move our country forward and upward toward our glorious destiny. The only way to bring out the best in America is to believe in America,” said former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley. South Carolina Senator Tim Scott also reinforced, “When you adhere to the principles in the Gospel, human flourishing cannot be stopped.”
While speakers did not shy away from acknowledging the many challenges America is facing, a message of hope was evident throughout the conference. Iowa Senator Joni Ernst emphasized, “Hope is not lost. As Scripture teaches us, when our faith is being tested our perseverance grows, we strengthen our character and we have hope.” Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo later shared, “I believe that we will restore the greatness of America, not because of any great American leader, not because of any great rule or law, but because of you…we will do it with joy in our hearts, we will do it with a smile on our face, and we will do it with a relentlessness that is worthy of our nation’s founding.”
During the final session of the conference Saturday evening, Faith & Freedom Coalition Founder and Chairman Ralph Reed rallied attendees, “We have a very big job to do, and we have 143 days to do it…we’re focused on November, and we’re going to do our job.”
