President Trump Announces Houses of Worship as Essential Service

DULUTH, Ga. – Today, in a White House Briefing, President Trump set a precedent to guide America’s reopening saying, “Today, I am identifying houses of worship, churches, synagogues, and mosques as essential places that provide essential services.” 

Executive Director Timothy Head, released the following statement.

“On behalf of the over 2 million members and supporters of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, I want to thank President Trump for recognizing today that houses of worship are essential. Thank you for calling on governors around the country to allow churches to open up and to be considered essential. The CDC has released guidelines for churches to follow as best practices to keep everyone safe and healthy. We have an administration who truly cares about our physical wellbeing as well as spiritual. The freedom to worship God is what our country was founded on. Thank you, President Trump, for ensuring that we can continue.”
