Pastors face jail time & fine for refusing to officiate same-sex wedding

Ordained ministers Donald and Evelyn Knapp from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho declined to perform a same-sex wedding recently, leading to severe action being taken against them.  Based on their response to an anti-discrimination ordinance, the city of Coeur d’Alene  is issuing a $1,000 fine and 180 day jail term for each day the Knapp’s continue to decline to marry the same-sex couple. Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the couple and an order to stop the city from enforcing the fine and jail time. Contact the mayor of Coeur d’Alene, Steve Widmyer and tell him to stop violating the religious beliefs of Donald and Evelyn Knapp!
