Faith & Freedom Coalition Statement On U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee Approval of Nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh To Serve On U.S. Supreme Court

Duluth, GA – Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Tim Head issued the following statement in response to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee vote today to approve the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to serve as the next associate justice on the U.S Supreme Court. Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination now goes to the full Senate.

“The over 1.8 million members and supporters of the Faith & Freedom Coalition are delighted that the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court has now moved to the full Senate. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer promised the Democrats would do anything to stop President Trump’s nominee and they meant anything. The Democrats’ attempt to smear a man of outstanding character and integrity, and one of the most eminently qualified jurists ever nominated for the Supreme Court, is despicable and has failed. We expect the U.S. Senate to vote as soon as possible and confirm Judge Kavanaugh.”
