Faith & Freedom Coalition Statement On Planned Parenthood Decision To Abandon Title X Funds

Washington, DC – Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Tim Head released the following statement today concerning the announcement that Planned Parenthood will no longer seek federal Title X program funds.

“The Trump administration has delivered on yet another pro-life promise by forcing Planned Parenthood to forgo federal Title X grants through the administration’s enactment of the Protect Life Rule at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Conservatives have fought for decades to cut federal taxpayer subsidies to Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers, and this decision from the nations largest abortion provider represents a significant victory in the fight to cut taxpayer funding of abortion services as part of the Title X family planning program.”
