Faith & Freedom Coalition Congratulates Donald Trump on Presumptive Primary Victory

The following statement was released today by Timothy Head, Executive Director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition. 

“We congratulate Donald Trump on becoming the presumptive Republican nominee for President of the United States. On the road to this moment, the evangelical community once again played the most pivotal role. As in primaries past, voters of faith demonstrated that candidates for higher office must work tirelessly to reach them on the ground, earn their trust, and commit to unapologetically fight for their values and priorities when in office. At the end of the day, faith voters remembered the former president’s commitment to them during his term. He promised to defend religious liberty for all Americans, and he kept that promise. In state after state, Donald Trump’s pro-family, pro-Israel presidential record fueled a first-class ground game that further strengthened his bond with evangelical voters and culminated with his presumptive primary victory.”
