Faith & Freedom Coalition Commends Trump Administration for its Response to COVID-19

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Faith & Freedom Coalition commends the Trump Administration for its thoughtful and rapid response to the COVID-19 crisis. Following the first coronavirus case in the U.S, President Trump responded by creating a Coronavirus Task Force, quickly declaring a public health emergency and restricting travel from China, buying America precious time to prepare. President Trump recently signed into law a historic $2 trillion response package to help Americans and recover the economy during this crisis. Trump has clearly signaled that the national response to the virus will continue to be thoughtful and strategic to make sure Americans are safe.

The emergency aid package for $2 trillion is the largest in U.S. history. It aims to help small businesses, American workers, families and industries that are struggling with the economic impact that the virus is causing. President Trump has also provided travel restrictions that will help to “flatten the curve,” issued emergency FDA approval for new coronavirus testing, donated his fourth-quarter 2019 salary to coronavirus response efforts and continues to keep Americans informed.
