Faith & Freedom Coalition Calls For End To Schumer Shutdown

Washington, DC – Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Tim Head issued the following statement calling for Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to immediately end the filibuster and re-open the federal government. “Senate Democrats continue their unprecedented level of obstruction by blocking any attempt to fund the military, children’s health insurance, and other government services, by demanding that government funding include legislation concerning illegal immigration. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer should immediately end the current filibuster and fulfill the responsibilities of Congress to fund the government.”
