USMCA Passes Through the House – Another Win for President Trump!

WASHINGTON, D.C., December 19, 2019 – Today the House passed the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), setting the agreement on course for ratification by Congress in 2020. This marks another victory for President Trump who has negotiated this deal for months.

USMCA will establish the strongest and most comprehensive labor protections of any trade agreement in American history. According to the U.S. International Trade Commission, USMCA could add up to $235 billion in new economic growth and 589,000 jobs to the U.S. economy within five years.

“We at the Faith & Freedom Coalition believe USMCA will lead the country into a free market,” said Timothy Head, Executive Director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition. “President Trump is prioritizing American interests in trade deals and is bringing jobs back to the American people .”

Despite attacks from the Left, President Trump has continued to keep his promises to the American people and since he became President in 2016, his economic policies have supported the formation of 7 million jobs. The passing of the USMCA will continue to bring in more jobs for American workers.
