U.S. Senate Confirms Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court

DULUTH, Ga. – Faith & Freedom Coalition celebrates the U.S. Senate’s vote today to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. The U.S. Senate voted to confirm Barrett to fill Ginsburg’s seat. Faith & Freedom Coalition helped to solicit thousands of signatures from patriots around the country, urging their senators to confirm Amy Coney Barrett. Timothy Head, executive director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition released the following statement in support of the Senate’s decision.

“On behalf of the over 2 million members of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, we celebrate the Senate’s decision to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. Judge Barrett is a woman who combines a profound faith with exceptional legal competence and judicial prudence. As a practicing Catholic and a member of the Christian group People of Praise, she has lived out her faith unapologetically and fearlessly. Through her rigorous commitment to the Constitution, Judge Barrett can help to halt the infringements on religious liberty that are all too common today. In nominating her to the SCOTUS, President Trump has once again made the right move to defend people of faith. Christians have no greater champion in government than Donald Trump. And with more people like Amy Coney Barrett in positions of power, religious liberty will stand a fighting chance.”
