Urgent: Oppose Hagel

President Obama has nominated former Senator Chuck Hagel to be Secretary of Defense.  Hagel is the wrong man for the wrong job at the wrong time. His views on Iran, Israel, and terrorism are very disturbing:

• Hagel has tried to put distance between the United States and Israel, and blamed American support for Israel on the “Jewish lobby.”
• Hagel was one of only four Senators to refuse to sign a letter supporting Israel while facing terrorist attacks.
• Hagel opposed sanctions on Iran, the world’s biggest state sponsor of terrorism, and supported direct talks with Hamas and Hezbollah.
