STATEMENT BY TIMOTHY HEAD, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE FAITH & FREEDOM COALITION, ON THE EFFORT TO STRENGTHEN THE CHILD TAX CREDIT

DULUTH, Ga., Nov. 15, 2023 — If our nation’s leaders want to help sustain a prosperous society, they must support hardworking American families. As the year comes to an end, Congress has an opportunity to provide essential support to families by strengthening the Child Tax Credit. That’s why the Faith & Freedom Coalition has joined a group of conservative organizations and individuals, including Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum, in advocating for the expansion of the Child Tax Credit. In spite of growing inflation and related hardships, Congress can provide relief to the families who need it most.
