DULUTH, Ga., Feb. 7, 2023 — “The Faith & Freedom Coalition applauds Iowa’s recent Students First Act and Utah’s Funding for Teacher Salaries and Optional Education Opportunities. These school choice bills are a victory for parental rights in our nation, and we are optimistic that more states will follow in their footsteps. School choice puts taxpayers back in control. Children develop more than just reading, writing and math skills at school; they develop their worldview. Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds and Utah Gov. Spencer Cox understand this, and these bills empower parents to decide where their children spend their most formative years. This is the kind of choice that will propel our nation toward a pro-freedom, pro-family future.”
