STATEMENT BY RALPH REED, FOUNDER AND CHAIRMAN OF THE FAITH & FREEDOM COALITION, ON PAT ROBERTSON’S LEGACY 

DULUTH, Ga. — Pat Robertson was one of the past century’s most influential figures in American religion, culture and politics. As a giant of the faith, founder of a global broadcasting ministry, pioneer of the cable television industry, humanitarian, educator, founder of Regent University, presidential candidate, and founder of the Christian Coalition, he was a true man of God who led millions to Christ. His heart for the Lord gave purpose to his life and animated everything his hand touched. Pat’s remarkable life is a reminder that a single person wholly surrendered to Jesus Christ can make a huge difference. Pat leaves a legacy in his family, his ministry, Regent University, and the millions he touched that will continue for decades. I was blessed and honored to count him as a friend.
