Statement On Anti-Christian Bigotry at Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority

In response to the Washington, DC Metro decision to ban an advertisement from the Arch Diocese of Washington promoting “spiritual giving”, Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Tim Head issued the following statement. “This decision by the Washington Metro is blatant anti-Christian bigotry and should not be tolerated. People of faith across the country call for the government of Washington, DC to immediately revise this discriminatory policy and protect faith-based speech.” DC Metro’s decision to reject religious Christmas ads is a clear violation of free speech and blatant anti-Christian bigotry. We will not permit such unabashed attacks on our religious liberty and we call on people of faith to fight with us to change this ruling. To read more about this issue, click here.
