Rep. Tom Price Nominated as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

Tom Price of Georgia as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. “Rep. Price is a longtime ally of people of faith, a distinguished orthopedic surgeon, Georgia State Senator, and an outstanding representative who ran for Congress because of his frustration with the government’s increasing interference in the doctor/patient relationship. As the architect of legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare, he is the perfect man for a critical job and will be an outstanding Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. As chairman of the House Budget Committee and as a member of the Ways and Means Committee, Rep. Price has devoted his efforts in Congress to getting our nation’s fiscal house in order and has served as a leader on health care policy in the U.S. House.
