Individuals seeking the office of President of the United States are invited to participate. Participants will be invited to address the audience for 10 minutes followed by a 10-minute center stage discussion with Dr. Jack Graham, pastor of the 40,000-member church, about the importance of faith in public life. Event: North Texas Presidential Forum Date: Sunday, October 18, 2015 Time: 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Location: 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas 75093 Hosts: Prestonwood Baptist Church / Faith & Freedom Coalition Dr. Jack Graham, Pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church said, “As Christians, it is critical that we take seriously our rights as citizens of this great country by educating ourselves on all candidates in any election and to participate fully in the election process by voting our values. We cannot afford to stand on the sidelines as our Christian values are continually trampled. This forum is a great opportunity to hear from each of the candidates seeking to lead our country.” Timothy Head, Executive Director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition said, “Christians and faithful Catholics are increasingly concerned about perceived hostility toward faith in America. Leading voices of faith are taking a clear stand for the fundamental American principle that no one of any faith should be compelled by government to violate their conscience or deeply-held faith. The North Texas Presidential Forum will be an excellent opportunity for prospective leaders to convince thousands of faith-filled Americans that they too will stand unflinchingly for the fundamental rights of faith and freedom.” Prestonwood Baptist Church is one of the nation’s largest, most dynamic congregations with 40,000 members and three locations in the heart of North Texas. Dr. Graham’s passionate, biblical teaching is seen and heard around the world through PowerPoint Ministries. He has served as President of the Southern Baptist Convention and most recently as Honorary Chairman of the National Day of Prayer. The Faith & Freedom Coalition has more than 1 million members and supporters across all 50 states. During the 2014 midterm elections, FFC distributed 21 million voter guides in 117,000 churches, knocked on over 500,000 doors, and made a total of 102 million voter contacts while turning out a record-setting evangelical vote.
