Faith & Freedom Coalition Celebrates Confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh To U.S. Supreme Court

Duluth, GA – The over 1.8 million members and supporters of the Faith & Freedom Coalition are celebrating today as Judge Brett Kavanaugh has been confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as Associate Justice on the U.S Supreme Court.

“The confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh is a victory for the rule of law,” said Chairman Ralph Reed. “It was also a vindication of a man of faith, an able public servant and a brilliant jurist. We are deeply grateful to President Trump for standing so firmly behind his outstanding nominee, and to Judge Kavanaugh, Senate leadership (led by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley) and Senators voting for confirmation for doing the right thing in the face of a smear campaign of personal attacks and threats by Democrats and an angry liberal mob.”

“Judge Brett Kavanaugh is one of the most qualified jurists ever nominated and confirmed to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court – a man of outstanding character and integrity who will apply the law as written and not legislate from the bench – and millions of conservatives across the country are overjoyed today with President Trump, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, and all of the Senators who stood strong and voted to confirm Justice Kavanaugh,” said Executive Director Tim Head.

Faith and Freedom’s campaign in support of Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation included 4.9 million pieces of direct mail, over 500,000 text messages, 1 million emails, 985,000 digital ads placed to Christian voters in the states of swing-vote Senators and over 85,000 phone calls placed to Senate offices from Faith & Freedom members and supporters urging Senators to vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh.
