Internship Job Description-Spring/Summer 2012

(Positions Available Immediately, No prior experience necessary) The Faith & Freedom Coalition internship program requires a professional attitude, excellent communication skills, strength in writing, basic level computer knowledge, enthusiasm, confidence to work independently and a desire to be a leader.  Primarily, we are looking for interns to assist the National Field Director, Director of Marketing, and Finance Director while helping to maintain daily office operations.  Specifically, interns will be involved with membership development, voter education, grassroots networking, events coordination, and new media relations.  Interns should be interested in grassroots marketing.  One primary focus for our spring and summer 2012 interns will be our 3nd Annual Faith & Freedom Conference and Strategy Briefing.  Job responsibilities could include, but not be limited to:

  • Attending Events on behalf of FFC i.e.: Parades, Fairs, Community Events, County meetings and other events with a built in crowd.
  • Phone Banking:  Each intern will be responsible for daily canvassing phone call and recording their calls in a matter that we will be able to harvest the information gathered from said call.
  • Social Networking: Collecting e-mail addresses, growing our Facebook group and Twitter feed.
  • List Building/Marketing: Aide in the overall expansion of FFC.
