FFC Executive Director Tim Head Statement On “No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act”

Tim Head, Executive Director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, issued the following statement on U.S. House approval of H.R. 7 the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act of 2017 by a bipartisan vote of 238 to 183, to create a uniform policy against taxpayer funding of abortion in all government programs. “The 115th Congress is already hard at work to dramatically reverse the abhorrent pro-abortion policies of the past eight years, policies that included abortion services as health care services and forcing U.S. taxpayers to pay for it. Thanks to Rep. Chris Smith and other members of the House pro-life caucus we are one step closer to creating a permanent, government wide ban of taxpayer dollars being used to fund abortion providers and promoters.”
