Faith & Freedom Statement On President Trump List of Potential Supreme Court Justices

Washington, DC – Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Tim Head issued the following statement in response to President Donald J. Trump’s announcement today of five judges he is adding to his list of potential nominees to the United States Supreme Court. “President Trump has made great strides to rebuild a federal judiciary that will respect religious liberty, the sanctity of human life, the rule of law, and the Constitution. Today the President took another big step forward when he added five outstanding jurists to his list of future potential Supreme Court nominees—jurists who share a judicial philosophy that respects the Constitution and who will not legislate from the bench. Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Judge Amy Coney Barrett, Judge Kevin Newsom, Justice Britt Grant, and Justice Patrick Wyrick are highly qualified judges who will uphold the Constitution and help protect the founding principles of our Republic.”
