The attempt to hold the American people hostage and force taxpayers to bail out Obamacare because it is unaffordable will not succeed. Democrats must end the Schumer Shutdown and reopen the government now.”

With the strong support of President Trump, the House of Representatives passed HR 5371 in September, a clean continuing resolution to keep the US Government funded through November 21, 2025 so that Congress can continue progress on long term funding. Under the leadership of Senator Chuck Schumer, Democrats in the US Senate passed “clean CRs” 13 times during the previous Biden administration and once this past March but, unfortunately are now holding the current clean CR hostage in an attempt to force the extension of Obamacare. Faith & Freedom Coalition urges the US Senate to pass the current clean CR today and re-open the US Government so that the work of the American people can continue.
