WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Faith & Freedom Coalition (FFC) issues the following statement regarding the decisive military actions recently taken by the United States and our sacred ally, Israel, against the Iranian regime’s infrastructure of terror.
“The safety of the American people and the security of the State of Israel are non-negotiable,” said Ralph Reed, Chairman of the Faith & Freedom Coalition. “For too long, the radical regime in Tehran has killed thousands of Americans, exported terrorism throughout the world, oppressed its own people, persecuted Christians and other religious minorities, and sought the destruction of the only democracy in the Middle East. We fully support the President and the Israeli government in their coordinated efforts to dismantle the threats posed by this state sponsor of terrorism.”
At the Faith & Freedom Coalition, we believe that peace is achieved through strength, not appeasement. The recent precision strikes represent a necessary stand for global stability and a direct response to the regime’s continued aggression.
The Faith & Freedom Coalition reaffirms the following principles:
- Unwavering Support for Israel: We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel as they exercise their sovereign right to defend their people from existential threats.
- A Mandate for Security: We applaud the administration’s commitment to a “Maximum Pressure” campaign that holds the Iranian leadership accountable for its regional destabilization and human rights abuses.
- Prayer for Our Servicemembers: We ask every American of faith to join us in urgent prayer for the safety and protection of our brave servicemembers currently deployed and in harm’s way, as well as for their families back home.
- Congressional Support: We strongly urge every member of Congress to set aside partisan differences and provide the administration with the full support and resources necessary to see this mission through to a successful conclusion.
- Protection of the Vulnerable: Our prayers are with the innocent civilians in the region and the brave underground church in Iran, who continue to shine the light of the Gospel in the face of tyranny.
- Moral Clarity: There is no moral equivalence between a representative democracy defending its borders and a theological dictatorship that seeks to spread chaos.
As we mark one year of this administration’s bold foreign policy, we are reminded that America is at its best when it leads with moral clarity and stands by its friends.
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” — Psalm 18:2
