Duluth, GA – The over 1.8 million members and supporters of the Faith & Freedom Coalition are rejoicing today as the United States Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates in their case challenging a California law that requires anti-abortion pregnancy centers to inform clients about free or low-cost abortion services.
“Today is another monumental day in the pro-life movement in America as the Supreme Court upheld that any law forcing pro-life pregnancy centers to provide free advertising for tax-funded abortions is a violation of their First Amendment rights,” said Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Tim Head. “We applaud this decision by the Court to stand up for the rights of the unborn and for upholding the free speech rights of pro-life pregnancy centers.
The Supreme Court decision held that the California FACT Act passed in 2015 that required licensed crisis pregnancy centers to advertise abortion services likely violates the First Amendment.
