EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TIMOTHY HEAD STATEMENT ON IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY

WASHINGTON, D.C, December 18, 2019 – Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Timothy Head issued the following statement in response to the U.S. House of Representatives vote to impeach President Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

“President Trump has been under attack by the Left ever since he came into office in 2016. This impeachment inquiry is a disgrace and is completely partisan. President Trump has strongly denied the false claims, and the transcripts from his call with Ukrainian President Zelensky have been released to the public. Although the articles have passed the House, the Republican-controlled chamber in the Senate will easily clear the President of the charge. This inquiry is doing more harm to the Democrat party than it is to President Trump. It is a shame to see such hostility from Democrats, which is revealing their true colors and goals. President Trump has made huge accomplishments during his time in office, such as improving the economy, securing America’s borders, protecting the right to life, defending religious freedom and establishing law and order in America. We at Faith & Freedom Coalition stand with President Trump.”
