In one of the most-watched events on the fall political calendar in the Hawkeye State, Senator Ted Cruz and Governor Bobby Jindal both headlined the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition’s “Fall Family Banquet” in Des Moines. The annual event was also attended by Governor Terry Branstad, Senator Charles Grassley, Congressman Steve King, and FFC Chairman Ralph Reed. Over 1,000 grassroots pro-family activists from across Iowa came to the event to have a dialogue about the serious challenges that our nation is facing under the current administration. The banquet also served as the launching pad for IA FFC’s get-out-the-vote efforts before Election Day. IA FFC will distribute over 500,000 nonpartisan voter guides in churches and make an estimated 1.4 million total voter contacts to faith-based voters prior to Election Day, including door knocks, volunteer phone banks, emails, text messages, and micro targeted digital voter guides.
