82% of Evangelical Christians Support President Donald Trump, According to New Pew Research

Duluth, Ga. – New results from a recent Pew Research Center poll reveals that President Trump continues to have strong support from evangelical Christians, with 82% of white evangelicals saying they will vote for President Trump or lean towards voting for him. This number is up from the 77% support Pew found in the 2016 exit polls. The poll also found that about 91% of white evangelicals do not think Joe Biden will make a good president. The Pew Research Center survey was conducted from June 16 to 22, 2020.
