Statement On Nomination of Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt To Lead EPA

Washington, DC – Below is a statement from Timothy Head, Executive Director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, on President-elect Donald Trump’s nomination of Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to be the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). “Attorney General Pruitt is a man of deep and abiding faith who believes firmly in the rule of law and protecting Gods creation and we strongly support his nomination to lead the EPA and commend President-Elect Trump for this selection. Attorney General Pruitt has a distinguished record in Oklahoma helping conserve natural resources, including protecting clean air and clean water. He understands the importance of the EPA in protecting our environment while also resisting federal overreach.
