Faith & Freedom Coalition Statement On Tax Reform Legislation

Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Timothy Head issued the following statement on the announcement yesterday by House Speaker Paul Ryan, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch, and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady, that Congressional leaders and the Trump administration have agreed to a framework for tax reform legislation. “The time has come for a major overhaul of the U.S. tax code that provides tax relief for American families and business. President Trump, Speaker Ryan, Leader McConnell and other leaders in Congress and this administration are working hard to simplify our tax code and provide real relief for families and businesses. These reforms will unleash the full power of the American economy to create jobs, and allow parents to better provide for their families.”
