Faith & Freedom Coalition Will Score Senate Vote on FY 2018 Budget Resolution

Vote Will Appear in Tens of Millions of Congressional Scorecards and Voter Guides to be Distributed in 117,000 Churches Nationwide in 2018

(Washington, DC) – The Faith & Freedom Coalition, a pro-family organization with over 1.5 million members and supporters nationwide, sent a letter from Executive Director Tim Head to Republican members of the U.S. Senate today, announcing its intention to score an anticipated vote on S.Con.Res. 25.

A successful vote on the budget resolution will allow Congress to proceed with the fundamental tax reform that Republicans have promised and America’s hardworking families desperately deserve.

In the letter to Senators, Head stated, “We cannot lose this once in a lifetime opportunity to make the tax code simpler and fairer by reducing rates and protecting families which will increase wages, promote job creation, and make American businesses more competitive. America’s families have already waited too long for tax reform that enables them to keep their hard earned dollars and care for their families. We must not fail them. Passage of the FY 2018 budget resolution is the first step the Senate must take.”
